I bought the stick for my 86-year-old mother, and she loves it. Very risky for an old woman, so we don't use this lock. This joint stays locked, creating a taller stick.
The stick has a rubber tip on the bottom which greatly reduces the risk of slipping. It will not stay locked. She even traded in the trusty mop handle she had been using (and I hated).
However, the one flaw I found was the lock on the bottom segment. The handle is a nice, molded grip. The top segment can be raised and locked into place.
Any pressure and the segment slides (telescopes) back into the larger segment. That aside, the stick is well made and my mother likes and uses it.
The videocassette recorder cleaner worked exactly as advertised. It arrived very quickly after I ordered it, and had been packed well to prevent damage in the mail. Very satisfied.
I've used about all the vcr head cleaner that are on the market, yet since I started to use the Maxell vcr cleaner I won't go near any other company again.I have 5 vcr's and I noticed the differents right after I use the maxell. My sound was coming out a great deal better too. This product in my option is one of the best and last much longer.I'ld say the next best thing would take your vcr apart and clean it,that's how good the maxell head cleaner works.I've been using this cleaner for years, and time always tells.
I've been digitizing a lot of family movies, videos, etc., and it is very important that the VHS player I've been using has clean heads. We manually cleaned the heads when we started, but I purchased this to clean them intermittently during this very long process. The VHS player is running our tapes through very crisp and clear. I believe it's doing what it's supposed to do.
I guess it's okay. The VCR I used it on had to be professionally cleaned. If your unit isn't that bad and you keep up with cleaning it, it should work well.
